Increased Impact Factors for both BPS Journals

We are delighted to announce that the 2008 Impact Factor for BJP (British Journal of Pharmacology) is 4.902*. This places BJP as the highest ranked general pharmacology research journal, now ranked 18th in the ISI Pharmacology & Pharmacy category*.

There is also good news for BJCP (British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology), with an increased Impact Factor for 2008 of 3.128*, taking the score above 3, which is a significant achievement.

We would like to thank the Editors, our Reviewers and the Authors (who chose the BPS journals as the home for their quality work) for their valuable contributions towards reaching these excellent Impact Factor scores.
