Increased Impact Factors for both BPS Journals

Published on 06/21/10

We are delighted to announce that the Impact Factor for BJP has increased to 5.204*, according to ISI citation data.

This confirms BJP as the highest ranked general pharmacology research journal (now ranked 19th in the ISI Pharmacology & Pharmacy category*) and reinforces BJP's position as the place authors and readers go for high impact research across the spectrum of pharmacology.

There is also good news for British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, which has an increased Impact Factor for 2009 of 3.246*, building on last year's important achievement of reaching a value above 3.

We would like to thank the Editors, our reviewers and those authors who chose the BPS journals as the home for their high quality work, for their valuable contributions towards reaching these excellent Impact Factor scores.
